The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the activities of ESC outbound department. 

What a Day in the Role looks like:

 

• Provide leadership for staff, motivate employees to achieve production goals
• Support a large team within a time-sensitive environment
• Strategize plans and prioritize tasks based on importance
• Manage data collection, update metrics to achieve productivity targets and decrease possible errors
• Oversee materials and inventory
• Make important policy, planning, and strategic decision with the leadership team
• Oversee budgeting, reporting, and auditing finances
• Ensure that all legal documents are filed, and activities remain compliant
• Provide quality assurance for all products

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervises, hires, and trains new employees
• Organize work schedule for assigned staff
• Conduct performance evaluations that are constructive

Handle disciplinary actions and termination of employees as needed in accordance with company policy

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industry-related field

Experience: 5+ years of related experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
• Excellent managerial and supervisory skills
• Knowledge of operations and production management
• Ability to interpret financial data and set production goals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
