About the Role:

As an Operations Manager at Curaleaf, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality cannabis products. You’ll lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring day-to-day operations - from prepping to packaging - run like clockwork while meeting strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee day-to-day production operations, including prepping, packaging, and processing.
• Maintain a clean and compliant facility, ensuring all equipment and spaces meet cGMP standards
• Create and manage production schedules and inventory tracking
• Coach, mentor, develop, and support your team, setting clear goals and offering ongoing feedback
• Ensure quality control with regular QA/QC testing and data review
• Establish systems to measure operational effectiveness and continuously improve performance
• Manage budgets and control expenditures
• Operate and maintain sophisticated processing equipment
• Create and maintain SOPs, training documentation, and safety records
• Keep the department compliant with all state and federal regulations and ensure that the operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements.
• Report regularly to the Director of Operations on performance, metrics, and improvements
• Contribute to strategic planning and long-term operational growth

What You’ll Bring:

• BS/BA in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a production or manufacturing environment
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams
• Proficiency with data analysis, production KPIs, and continuous improvement strategies
• A commitment to quality, safety, and compliance
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple production challenges with a sense of urgency
• Skilled in handling conflicts and navigating difficult situations with professionalism and tact
• Excellent communicator who fosters a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
• Results-driven with the ability to set, track, and communicate KPI performance to senior leadership
• Hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Proficient in planning workloads, managing schedules, and implementing systems aligned with company goals and strategic initiatives
• Strong knowledge of processing and packaging technology
• A talent for training and motivating others
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Even Better If You Have:

• Experience in the cannabis, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical industry
• Familiarity with cannabis-specific regulatory requirements
• Experience developing and executing strategic operational plans
