About the role

This position oversees the daily operations of the Center for Adult and Continuing Studies (CASCS), ensuring the efficient execution of registrar-related functions, enrollment management, course scheduling, and event operations. This role is responsible for process optimization, compliance, and operational support that enhances the experience of adult learners. This position l works closely with Product Managers and other stakeholders to maintain seamless program delivery.

Salary & Benefits:

Minimum starting salary of $48,000, commensurate with experience

Operational Management & Process Improvement:

  • Oversee registrar-related functions, including student enrollment, record management, and compliance with university policies.
  • Manage course scheduling, ensuring alignment with program objectives and instructor availability.
  • Lead event operations for CASCS programs, including logistics, venue coordination, and support services.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational workflows to enhance service delivery.
  • Utilize data analysis to monitor operational performance and recommend improvements.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Supervise and support operational staff, including student workers, to ensure high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align operations with program development and execution.
  • Serve as a liaison between CASCS and institutional departments to streamline processes.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for the operations team.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure adherence to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and oversee reporting processes related to enrollment and program operations.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure a consistent and high-quality learner experience.

Financial & Resource Management:

  • Assist in budget planning and resource allocation to support CASCS operations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
  • Manage vendor relationships for operational needs, including invoicing, event coordination, and technology.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable including instructor payments, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding, scholarships, etc.

Other Duties:

  • Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in operations, registrar services, event management, or higher education administration.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with student information systems, enrollment management tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements in higher education and continuing studies.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in adult education or workforce development programs.
  • Familiarity with data analysis for decision-making and process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive efficiency in operations.
