We are seeking an Operations Manager – Install for our Commercial Landscape Installation team. The Operations Manager oversees and manages all aspects of installation projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The manager coordinates with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operations and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Operations Manager – Install Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong relationships and communicate regularly with key clients.

  • Inspect installation projects to monitor performance and overall job quality.

  • Ensure all project specifications are executed correctly.

  • Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.

  • Ensure proper use and care of all branch assets.

  • Determine training needs of branch staff and schedule with appropriate personnel.

  • Utilize labor effectively to meet budgets while ensuring high quality on job sites.

  • Oversight and adherence/enforcement of Juniper’s new project start-up processes and policies.

  • Identify staffing needs and work with the recruiter to fill openings.

  • Lead efforts of quality control, productivity management, scheduling, and efficiencies for branch operations.

  • Monitor branch safety records and implement methods to improve safe workplace practices.

  • Promote and lead the safety culture of the branch.

  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

  • Other relevant job duties as needed.

 

Job Qualifications

  • Must maintain a current state driver’s license.

  • Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, construction, or business management preferred.

  • 3+ years of landscaping or construction industry experience.

  • 3+ years of managing landscape and/or irrigation projects.

  • Demonstrated skills in project and time management, team motivation and leadership, decision making, and computer software systems.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
