MedImpact Healthcare System is offering a short summer Internship opportunity to a student in a local high school or a full time college student. The student can work full or part time in the Pharmaceutical Benefits Management (PBM) industry. The program is designed to provide a student with full or part-time employment while promoting awareness of the PBM industry and exposing the student to MedImpact’s culture and work environment.

  • Responsibilities may include general office support, data entry, organizing mailings, Internet research, drafting correspondence, creating spreadsheets and general analysis. Intern must demonstrate the ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with corporate policies and accept constructive feedback. Will include a multi-department (to be identified) rotation for two weeks each.

    Experience:

    High School or full-time College Students

  • Demonstrated leadership experience through work and/or school related activities

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details

  • Knowledge of basic computer programs i.e.: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc. is required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
