About the role

Operations Integration Transformation Architect

The Opportunity:

Are you passionate about solving problems through technology? As an experienced Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) operations professional, you know the importance of implementing outcome-based digital solutions, founded in transformative architectures, process improvements, and technology insertion. In this environment, understanding how IT systems interfacing with air, ground, and space assets to support Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) must converge to integrate data from various sensors into a single common operating environment for decision support. This role is critical and requires a blend of advanced systems engineering, operations expertise, and strategic planning to synchronize disparate technologies into a unified, resilient architecture that provides real-time situational awareness.

We’re looking for someone like you to help organizations solve their traditional business challenges from roadmap development to mission execution. As a mission capability architect on our team, you’ll ensure warfighter mission threads, operational concepts, and C5ISR workflows are accurately represented in system design, integration, and deployment. This role acts as the operational advocate within technical teams, aligning mission requirements with architecture, data flows, and application hosting to guarantee mission readiness and resilience.

In this role, you’ll directly impact ABMS’ ability to develop a secure, integrated system-of-systems for the military by translating operational needs into procurement, fielding, and sustainment strategies. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing and collaborating as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

Work with us as we implement new technologies to change the way the DoW and Air Force develop, deploy, and sustain critical C5ISR solutions for the better.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience executing or supporting C5ISR operations in areas such as sensor orchestration, optimization, and data processing and exploitation, battlespace characterization, fused target custody and analytics, Automation, Augmentation, and Artificial Intelligence (AAA) and Machine Learning (ML), and Multi-INT operations
  • Experience leveraging fixed, edge, and remote processing nodes to effectively and efficiently prioritize, process, and disseminate C5ISR data in routine, disconnected, or disrupted environments
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence
  • Ability to act as an operations liaison between government stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and portfolio managers to ensure requirements are understood well defined
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Operations Research, AI, or ML

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in Link 16, Tactical Data Links (TDL), and satellite communications (SATCOM)
  • Experience developing secure information-sharing environments with coalition partners
  • Ability to support Agile software development and rapid prototyping to integrate new capabilities into an IT-based, system-of-systems architecture
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree in Airpower Strategy and Technology Integration, or a related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
