Position Overview
QinetiQ US is seeking a creative, hands-on, hardworking architect to be a member of our data and technology group. As a cyber security architect, you'll be supporting the network operations center of our CBP client. The selected candidate will work on government Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. Responsibilities include cyber and subsystem design, evaluation, integration, and testing of various cyber security functions and related computer systems, as well as the overall program management related to cyber security.
The Data and Technology Group (DTG) supports division vertical teams to deliver technology solutions supporting Defense, Homeland, and FedCiv clients by delivering analytics services and developing applications and algorithms through Lean Development and Agile Methodologies.
DTG provides the homebase for full-stack developers, data engineers, data scientists, and other technologists, creating a dynamic, cross-project technical community that prioritizes continual learning, collaboration, and easy opportunities for project variety over time.
DTG also ensures that our focus on delivering for current customers is balanced with initiatives that will help drive future growth - both in terms of new customers and new technologies and solutions. We create demonstrations and pilot capabilities to help clients as they consider how to modernize and maximize their processes, operations, and mission impact.
Responsibilities
Job Title: Operations Analyst
Job Overview: As an Operations Analyst you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining system data accuracy and providing analytical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support to Operations and Information Technology
- Collect and organize information from various sources
- Analyze and ensure the accuracy of system data
- Conduct interviews with employees and managers
- Identify and solve problems in various fields or specialized areas
- Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements
- Use statistical methods to analyze information and develop solutions to business problems
- Advise managers on findings and the various courses they can take to address the problem
- Write memos and reports for managers to look over the findings and recommendations
Required Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Two or more years proven work experience as an Operations Analyst or similar role
- Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
- Mathematical skills to process complex calculations
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical skills with a commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to multitask and support multiple teams effectively
- Valid U.S. Driver’s license required.
- Work requires the ability to perform the following physical activies: walking, standing, stooping, bending, twisting, crawling, reaching, lifting, sitting, and squatting. Work may require walking, standing, sitting, and working in confined spaces or at high elevations for extended periods of time.
Additional Information:
Must be able to successfully pass a government background investigation.
- 8 hour shift work to include weekends with potential shifts to include: 0600 – 1400; 1400 – 2200; and 2200 – 0600.
