Role Overview
As an Associate Operations Analyst you will own the design and execution of Industrial Engineering projects that drive cost effective, data backed decisions across Camden’s manufacturing programs. You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams to uncover unique program characteristics, develop proactive risk reduction strategies, and keep the operations portfolio on track for current commitments and future growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead simulation projects from requirements gathering, model development, and validation to results presentation.
• Translate business priorities into quantifiable simulation scenarios that evaluate throughput, lead time, and resource utilization.
• Identify and mitigate bottlenecks by creating “counter active enablers” (process changes, capacity buffers, scheduling rules) that reduce risk.
• Partner with program owners to embed simulation insights into daily decision making and long term planning.
• Document findings in clear, executive level reports and dashboards.
• Continuously improve simulation methodology, toolsets, and data quality standards.

Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, or Industrial and Systems Engineering from an accredited college.
• Two semesters experience with discrete event simulation tools (e.g., Simio, Arena) or strong academic project work in this area.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

• Ability to translate technical results into business recommendations.
• Proficiency in data analysis (SQL, Python, R) and visualization (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana).
• Detail oriented, self starter who thrives in a collaborative environment.
