OnSite Hazmat Program Manager

Clean Harbors is looking for an Onsite HazMat Program Manager to join their safety conscious team! This position will be supporting the execution of various client environmental management programs. The InSite Program Manager serves as the client’s main contact and primary interface with Clean Harbors daily. They are responsible for and managing the client’s hazardous waste program at the client location near Irving, TX.

• Leadership and management skills. • Proficient in Windows based applications. • Must be a team player. • Strong customer service skills. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. • Good organizational skills, decisiveness and initiative. • Ability to work with little or no supervision. • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Computer skills. • Familiarity with EPA, DOT, NRC, and applicable state and local regulations. • Working knowledge of Profit and Loss management. • Working knowledge of Safety.
What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s in chemistry, biology, or environmental science preferred;
- 2+ years of hazardous waste experience;
- Familiarity with regulatory state requirements of Small and Large Quantity Generators.
