We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Technical Trainer to join our Learning and Development team. This role is responsible for conducting onsite and remote training sessions, supporting the technical learning needs of our employees, and managing systems for conferences and meetings. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in gamification, and the ability to deliver engaging, effective training programs to diverse learners using a variety of tools and platforms.

The Corporate Technical Trainer should have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. They must be proficient in training and content development, possess excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills, and maintain a professional appearance.

What would you do in this role?

Reports To: Learning & Development Manager 

Location: Plano, TX Corporate Office 

Department: Learning & Development 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver technical training material including student guides, instructor manuals, assessments and hands-on classroom activities for Microsoft Office Programs, including Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as in-house systems. 

  • Incorporate gamification techniques to enhance learner engagement and track progress. 

  • Set up and manage AV equipment for onsite training sessions and conferences. 

  • Provide cross-platform technical support for Windows and Mac systems 

  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) track and deliver training programs. 

  • Foster an engaging, positive, and supportive learning environment, offering targeted training programs to help employees develop and enhance their job skills. 

  • Create and lead interactive training experiences and facilitate group discussions, role-playing, and team exercises. 

  • Analyze training effectiveness and implement improvements based on data and feedback. 

  • Liaise between users and system developers, troubleshooting technical issues and improving systems.
