We’re seeking an Onboarding Specialist (DOT/Background) who loves a challenge and wants the opportunity to grow with a fast-paced company. This position will be located in the Columbia, MO corporate office, but a hybrid work model is acceptable. We're looking for someone to help support the team by staying compliant with new and current drivers and field techs. They will play a key role in the onboarding process for EquipmentShare new hires and current employees transitioning into DOT roles.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide customer service for new EquipmentShare hires regarding their background checks, Drug tests, and driver qualification files (DQF).
• Work directly with the Director of Transportation and the DOT team to mitigate any DOT violations and maintain clean audits. 
• Set up DISA profiles and upload all required documents into background management system. 
• Initiate all annual, quarterly and monthly/weekly reports from DISA. 
• Send emails/links to start the DQF process to the managers and employees.
• Monitor and coordinate completion process of DQF. 
• Order drug test, DOT physicals and backgrounds - this includes Clearinghouse Query
• Monitor pending drug tests and Backgrounds - work with Employee onboarding team as needed. 
• Communicates with onboarding and recruitment staff about test results and other roadblocks that may impede hiring status.
• Maintains Gulf Region Access for all current and new hires (TWIC)
• Assist with annual DOT requirements and all audits. 
• Assist the DQF team on any additional tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

• Prior work with DOT and DQF's preferred
• Past experience in an HR specialist or generalist position preferred. 
• Must maintain excellent customer service both internally and externally - position requires extensive time on the phone.
