Are you an experienced children's residential care professional ready to take the next step in your career?

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Manager to lead a 4-bed children's home in Staffordshire, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to shape a high-quality service, lead a committed team, and make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the home delivers exceptional standards of care, achieves positive outcomes for young people, and remains fully compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As Registered Manager, you will:

* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the children's home.

* Create a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment where young people can thrive.

* Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and safeguarding requirements.

* Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing care team.

* Monitor and improve service quality through effective leadership and oversight.

* Manage care planning processes to ensure individual needs and outcomes are met.

* Build positive relationships with local authorities, families, education providers, and external professionals.

* Oversee budgets, resources, staffing levels, and occupancy.

* Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care and practice.

* Prepare for and manage regulatory inspections.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

* Have experience working within children's residential care, ideally supporting young people with EBD.

* Hold, or be working towards, a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

* Have previous management or senior leadership experience within a residential childcare setting.

* Possess a strong understanding of safeguarding, childcare legislation, and regulatory frameworks.

* Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

* Be passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people.

* Hold a full UK driving licence.
