Officer Security

• Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, access control, equipment distribution, and documentation.
• Be visible and observant at all times, greeting colleagues, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner.
• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
• Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance
• Patrol property on foot, securing personnel, assets, buildings, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all weather conditions.
• Investigate and take the appropriate lawful action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents.
• Secure all doors, windows, and exits, depending on shift.
• Establishes and ensures adherence to all department and hotel guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Maintains open communications with all hotel departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of security and safety experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred. 

This job requires the ability to perform the following: 

• Carrying, lifting, pushing, and/or pulling items weighing up to 50-100 pounds
• Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
• Frequently handling objects and equipment to secure the facility
• Frequently bending, stopping, and kneeling
