Description
Overview:
The Office of International Student Resources & Engagement (OISRE) is seeking a dedicated and motivated Office Assistant to support the planning and execution of various programming activities. This position will also involve assisting with social media management and other office projects aimed at enhancing the international student experience at CWRU. The hourly rate is: $12.22/hour.
Responsibilities

Assist in the planning of OISRE programming activities, including cultural events, workshops, and other student engagement initiatives.

Assist in social media content creation, posting, and engagement tracking

Support the development and distribution of promotional materials for upcoming events and services.

Provide logistical support during events, including set-up, check-in, and troubleshooting as needed.

Assist with office-related tasks such as responding to student inquiries, maintaining records, updating resources, and supporting the OISRE website.

Collaborate with the OISRE team on special projects aimed at improving services for international students.
Qualifications
Qualifications

Currently enrolled as a full-time CWRU student in good academic standing

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Experience with social media platforms and content creation.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Previous work experience in an office environment preferred

Interest in international student affairs and cross-cultural engagement is preferred.

Proficiency in a language other than English

Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for event support.
