Nutrition Aide - Per Diem

Description

Summary:

Performs daily tasks including set up, break down, all ware washing and pot washing. Cleaning responsibilities including floors and trash maintenance. Delivers and sets up plated line for breakfast, lunch and dinner for assisted living and memory care residents when necessary. Responsible for restocking all resident pantry areas as needed along with preparing and setting up daily lobby and straus center coffee, danish and fresh fruit cart. Monitors refrigerator and wash temps.

Environment:

1. Exposed to high temperatures and steam with potential for burns.
2. Exposed to wet floors with potential for slips.
3. Exposed to sharp objects with potential for cuts.
4. May involve exposure to infectious disease.

Requirements

Education, Training or Certifications Required:

Demonstrated ability to read, write and understand written instructions.

Experience Required:

Food service experience preferred.

Special Requirements:

Emotional maturity and good people skills required.

Cognitive Requirements:

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Physical Demands:

1. Lifts food containers and stock with potential for strains from lifting.
2. Stands on feet most of the time.
3. Prolonged walking and standing
