Summary:

As a partner in building brighter futures for youth and their families, your role will be to provide clinical oversight to the nursing staff to ensure we are providing the best medical care to our youth that aligns with The Village Network’s Mission, Vision & Values.

Essential Tasks, Duties, and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for evaluating and implementing a medication management plan that outlines expectations and processes while maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies, state and federal requirement including but not limited to COA, OHMAS, ODJFS, and Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Manages external medication audits in collaboration with contracted pharmacist and contracted physician.
• Collaborates with Human Resources and Regional Directors on maintaining an accurate list of employed and contracted prescribing and medical providers. This should include keeping contracts and collaborating physician documents on file with Human Resources and identifying their roles and supervisor at TVN.
• Trains all prescribers and medical staff on TVN’s Electronic Health Record. Trains medical staff on medication tracking and documentation, and medication administration. Trains clinical and direct care staff on Psychotropic Medications: 101 and any ongoing training needed. Trains administrative assistants in medical tracking and documentation.
