Nurse-RN

Position Summary: 

The RN provides direct nursing services to Axis Health System patients, and clinical and administrative support to medical providers. Nursing duties include preparing for patient admissions and visits, obtaining and documenting vital signs, assisting medical providers with procedures, administering medication and immunizations, providing health education, chronic care management and preventative care. Assigned to a primary location, but may be required to assist at other clinics.

• Minimum Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum Experience: 2 Years of Experience in a health care setting Preferred Experience: 2 years Nursing experience.
• Minimum License/Certification: Current unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the State of CO;
• Additional Certifications: BLS
• Employee Health Requirements: Annual TB screening, annual FLU immunization, HEP B
• Must have current driver’s license and ability to be commercially insured and maintain a driving record that allows insurability with AHS commercial insurance agency.

Salary:  $36.00 - $40.66 per hour, and considers preferred experience and education.

Physical demands: 

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Employees are frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods at a computer. Employees must be able to travel between Axis Health System locations. Possible potential exposure to communicable disease.
