We are looking to fill RN positions at our Common Ground and Concept 90 24/7 residential programs.  

 

Concept 90 - RN for evening shift with rotating weekends and holidays.  Hours are flexible to be 3:00pm - 11:00pm, 4:00pm -12:00am or 2:00pm - 10:00 pm.

 

 

Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.

 

Compensation:

RN Applicants: $40.69 - $46.50 p/hr.

 

Qualifications:

Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. Must have good standing license (RN) valid in the state in which clinical will practice. Must also possess current CPR Certification.

 

Experience: Substance Abuse experience is preferred!

 

RN 1: May be recent graduate of approved nursing school with up to one (1) year experience.
RN 2: Two (2) to five (5) years nursing experience, with one (1) year in addictions, mental health, or related specialty.
RN 3: Five (5) or more years nursing experience, with two (2) years in addictions, mental health, or related specialty

 

Your responsibilities in this role may include: We need nurses who are experienced in medication administration, treatment planning, nursing documentation in an electronic medical record, and nurses who can utilize the team approach if problems are questions occur. While functioning as part of a team, nurses can see the positive effects that improve lives on daily basis. 


* Perform initial nursing assessment for clients within 24 hours of admission in accordance with established program policies and state regulation.
* Arrange appropriate appointments with Health Care Providers to secure complete physical examinations, as well as required additional health screenings and supplemental tests.
* Administer medications, as well supervise the self-administered medications, where appropriate and allowed by regulation.
* Maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies and accurate records of same in compliance with governing regulations and agency policy.
* Counsel clients on nutrition, health care, self-care, symptom management etc.
* Ensure that clients have appropriate medical coverage to guarantee safety, adequate care, and provider compliance for payment.
* Ensure proper storage of supplies as required by regulation.
* Assist in the facilitation of special events, including, but not limited to: staff training, staff retreat, workshops and facility events.
* Implement health seminars, including, but not limited to: HIV/AIDS, nutrition, medication education, infectious diseases, mental health, etc.
* Participate in treatment/multidisciplinary team meetings, as directed.
* Implement and assure adherence to infection control policies and practices.
* Provide education for clients regarding health, nutrition, safety, and medication compliance.
* Maintain license with good standing.
* Other related duties as assigned by Nurse Manager or designee.

Working Conditions:
Required to work rotating weekends including one off shift per week to ensure program coverage.
