About the role

GENERAL SUMMARY

Schedule corporate, outage and online activities (date, time, sequence) for all plant organizations. Develop system window schedules to support on-line maintenance and outage management. Perform schedule maintenance within Primavera corporate scheduling tools. Assist the Lead Outage Scheduler and Outage Manager with outage activities related to development of detailed plans/schedules, resolving conflicts with schedule adherence, and developing outage shut down risk profiles.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead and oversee the development and review of detailed schedules for assigned windows and project work, ensuring compliance with Technical Specifications and Maintenance Rule requirements. Drive risk management strategies aligned with station procedures and goals..

  • Provide reports to assist management in identification of scope for system windows, outages, and non-outage work.

  • Develop and implement scheduling methodology, health and tools based on industry best practice.

  • Maintain schedule integrity and health through review and auditing of published schedules.

  • Lead weekly schedule review meetings to ensure accountability and accuracy.

  • Develop and implement outage scheduling methodology based on industry best practice, as required.

  • Develop and maintain assigned outage performance indicators and reports, as required.

    Other Duties:

  • Must participate on the Emergency Response Team (ERO) when designated.

  • Must support biennial refueling outage.

  • Must provide support to the Outage Command Center (OCC).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Nuclear Project Scheduler IV

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology or a related technical field and fourteen years of experience in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment.

  • OR Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology or related technical field and sixteen years in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment.

  • OR High school diploma or GED and eighteen years of experience  in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment. A maximum of two years of the required technical experience may be fulfilled by one advanced degree.

Nuclear Project Scheduler III

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology or a related technical field and eight years of experience in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment.
  • OR Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Technology or a related technical field and ten years of experience in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment.
  • OR High school diploma or GED and twelve years of experience in operations, project management, engineering or maintenance; At least four years of the required experience must be in a nuclear environment. A maximum of two years of the required technical experience may be fulfilled by one advanced degree.

PAY RANGE

Nuclear Project Scheduler IV Salary: $141,070 - $211,604

Midpoint: $176,337

Nuclear Project Scheduler III Salary: $122,681 - $184,021

Midpoint: $153,351

Typically, selected candidates are hired between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience and qualifications, market rate, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
