Excellent opportunity for a college student in their last year of their Nuclear Medicine Technologist program to work around their school schedule and learn the profession on the job at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. 

Highlights:

  • Location:  Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC
  • Schedule: Work on a PRN basis, around college classes and clinical.

What Will You Do:  

Effectively and efficiently performs age appropriate Nuclear Medicine examinations while under the direct supervision of a staff Nuclear Medicine technologist and in accordance with Hospital and Departmental policies and procedures.  Provides assistance with patient care, room turnover, paperwork, supplies, equipment cleaning and errands while communicating pertinent information to appropriate personnel.

What You Will Need:  

  • High School diploma or GED and 
  • Current enrollment in JRCNMT accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current BLS Provider certification

  • Good verbal and non-verbal communication skills – able to communicate on a professional level
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to work well with physicians, co-workers and other members of the health care team
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment
  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and performance evaluation/feedback
