Reporting to the Director, Research and Development, the NPD Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams of engineers, scientists, and developers in crafting the next generation of X-ray analyzers at XOS. The R&D Project Manager will own end-to-end delivery of NPD initiatives and will have overall responsibility for project planning and execution. Project success is measured on cost, schedule, and product performance. The candidate should share our passion or innovation and our commitment to building phenomenal products for our customers.  

This position is part of the Research and Development team located in East Greenbush, New York, and will be onsite.  

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

• Oversee planning and execution of NPD projects – responsible for project  target including, quality, OTD, and cost 
• Lead planning and implementation of product development projects 
• Facilitate teams to define project scope, budget, schedule, risk, and technical feasibility 
• Define project tasks and resource requirements 
• Set up agreements with key project vendors 
• Ensure adherence to project budget, schedule, and performance requirements 
• Provide direction and support to project team 
• Track project risks and lead implementation of mitigating actions 
• Other duties as assigned by management
