Job Description

The Manager, Non-Card Product & Roadmap Manager is responsible for shaping and executing Visa’s 2030 strategy imperative to deliver on non-card payment flows. This includes understanding in depth Visa’s non card product development plan as well as in market needs of priority markets to drive towards successful outcomes which could come in the form of product solutioning, pilot launches, executive reporting, and global program management.  

This is an opportunity to join Visa’s newly created global growth team, which matches key global partners with product-oriented Visa partnerships teams. Those teams sit alongside product development professionals to bring a more collaborative and agile approach to grow with Visa’s partners. 

This role requires an experienced payments professional who is highly organized,  works well cross-functionally, and has strong executive content creation and presentation skills. 

Essential Functions

  • Partner with regional and country teams to effectively track overarching non-card KPIs at a market and product level. 
  • Work across all scrum teams to aggregate non-card roadmaps and provide updates on progress across all scrums. 
  • Support ideation, solutioning, and product development for existing and new non-card products. 
  • Centrally manage finances across scrums, ensuring appropriate tracking and deployment of funding.  
  • Synthesize KPIs, roadmaps, and finances to develop standardized reporting at various stakeholder levels including product teams, regional teams, and executives. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • A minimum of 5 years business experience with related product, sales and management experience in the payments and/or financial services industry, with particular preferred experience in cross border money movement or card networks
  • Proven record of creative product solutioning with complex product sets, driving client ideation and innovation.
  • Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing a complex, competitive sales effort and managing deals from negotiation, to closing and through delivery.
  • Proven record of implementing strategic initiatives, policies and operational decisions.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical/problem solving and thought leadership
  • Teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example.
  • Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate across functions and through multiple disciplines and organizational groups
  • Experience 'managing up', building Executive Level communications and delivering presentations
  • Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and to influence partners, senior management and other relevant parties
  • Executive presence, Strong written and oral communication, including large-group presentations
  • Team oriented, collaborative and flexible
  • Ability to influence and work within matrixed environment
  • This is a position that requires in-person collaboration with the broader team based out of San Francisco. Candidates will be expected to in office 75% of the time.
