Pay Range:                        $31.00 - $33.00

Reports To:                     Director of Outbound Operations

The primary responsibility of the Night Shift Warehouse Manager is to handle all aspects of the Outbound

operation.  The manager directs and oversees the functions of the order selectors, loaders and other

warehouse workers.  The duties of the manager is to ensure all orders are picked, packed, loaded and billed

accurately.  This position requires the individual to work in a dynamic environment and exercise prompt

decision-making and have problem solving abilities.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for hiring and training new employees to meet and exceed company standards, selection, errors, productivity and safety.
• Responsible for re-training existing employees to meet our standards.
• Scheduling and supervising the activities related to order selection, shorts, loading, truck close out and billing.
• Ensure the safety of all workers in the warehouse as per Company Policies & Procedures and Occupational Safety and Health Administration norms.
• Monitor, track (document) and administer discipline, when necessary, in accordance with company policies.
• Preforming duties of any/all warehouse workers may be required to meet deadlines for completion of required tasks.
• Perform route release and cubing procedures.
• Ensure accurate information is being input into the warehouse management system.
• Perform audits on completed units of work for selection accuracy.
• Set, monitor and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Understand and monitor key outbound operations cost drivers and implement corrective actions to reduce costs, where necessary.
• Complete daily tasks assigned by Operations management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-driven, team-oriented leader with strong interpersonal skills
• Prior experience managing a team of 10 plus employees

Preferred Qualifications

• Foodservice distribution experience
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Prior experience with ERP, WMS systems, and RF technology
