We are currently seeking a Networking Senior Analyst - Smart Hands Support to join our team in Yonkers, New York (US-NY), United States (US).

 

This role will provide Smart Hands Break-Fix support for network equipment in IT closets at various campus/site.​

 

**This role requires working onsite daily at our client's facility and requires employee to be fully vaccinated on or before start date, to the extent required by applicable law.

 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the remote resolution team to provide smart hands support on site
• Network gear Hands & Eyes support 
• Perform on-site visual verifications
• Reset cables, cable replacement
• Rack/un-rack of physical network components 
• Move, remove, swap or replace network equipment
• Replace ports, module, fans
• Network equipment resets
• Power cycling, module/disk insertion/reset​
• Provide console access, assist remote network team on break/fix issues for network devices
• Extensive travel throughout New York City

 

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of networking experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Personal vehicle for travel between sites

 

Additional Preferences:

• Availability for on-call rotation
• Should have Basic knowledge of Networks and Networking Devices
• Should know how to Console to the devices
• Should know about resetting the cables, rebooting the devices etc
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Technical experience, technical aptitude
• Net+ Certification
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented
