Network Engineer 2

Athenix Cyber & SIGINT is seeking a Network Engineer 2 to work on a new program in the in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.  This role will require some overseas travel!

Minimum Requirements:

• Eight (8) years of experience providing network engineering support and a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline (System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management).  A related Masters degree can be substituted for two (2) years of relevant professional experience for a total of six (6) years professional experience.  In lieu of a degree an additional four (4) years of relevant experience for a total of 12 years' experience.  
• Certifications: An Information Assurance Technical (IAT) level 1 baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M is required. (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP)
• Ability to perform in a team environment.
• TS SCI w/Polygraph is required

Desired:

• Perform full lifecycle support to the customer on complex data systems and networks.
• LINUX or UNIX administration/maintenance experience.
• Provide solutions to the customer applying expertise with systems engineering and networks/components to support.
• Candidates possessing system administration and/or network engineering backgrounds will be considered if they have the above skillset.
