Aperio Global, LLC is seeking a skilled Network Analyst/System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our network infrastructure and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in network administration and system maintenance, as well as a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 support for the US Army's INSCOM Customer providing configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues or bottlenecks. Take proactive measures to optimize network performance and ensure high availability.
  • Administer and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and virtual private networks (VPNs).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network infrastructure projects, ensuring proper planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Monitor and respond to network incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls, ensuring proper permissions and security protocols are in place.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams, standard operating procedures, and system configurations.
  • Stay up to date with the latest network technologies and trends and make recommendations for improvements based on industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Some Technical College Courses preferred but not required.
  • Preferred but not required bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 years supporting Active directory environments in network administration or system administration roles.
  • Experience with network devices, protocols, and technologies such as Cisco routers and switches, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
  • Strong knowledge of network security concepts and best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+ CE, Network + CE, Security + CE, SSCP or CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA/MCSE are a plus.
  • SHIFT WORK- Backend Day- 6am-6pm -Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
  • Backend Nights 6pm-6am Wednesday Thursday Friday and Saturday
