Our work with the Dept of Veteran Affairs delivers clinical care to Veterans by managing the logistics and flow of supplies and equipment. Supply Chain Management (SCM) ensures that the right equipment and supplies are available when needed, and the Supply Chain Management Product Line (SCM PL) encompasses the activities to procure resources, manage supplies, and deliver goods and services to providers and patients. 
 
What is the position? 
Cognosante is seeking a Full Stack Developer with diverse experience in software development projects. The Full Stack Developer serves as a key member of the software development team within an Agile Release Team. Responsibilities include writing code to address specified requirements within user stories, participation in daily scrum meetings, testing code, recommendations for improved code sets, grooming sprint backlog, determining next development cycle from sprint backlog.
 
What will I get to do?  

Develops, deploys, and supports source code for UX and back-end cloud-based solutions within an Agile Release Team.  


What qualifications do I need? 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related/applicable field. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
  • 5 years of experience in software development in high-volume enterprise systems including defect remediation
  • Section 508 Compliance remediation
  • Experience developing in a high-volume cloud-based enterprise system.
  • Experience in a variety of software coding including .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, jQuery, Bootstrap, Fusion Charts, Power BI, front-end web application development, and back-end API development
  • Experience with a variety of business systems and applications
  • Experience in designing, testing, debugging, and documenting software
  • Experience with Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, Visual Studio, and MS SQL Server Management Studio
  • Experience working in an Agile DevOps-oriented culture that prioritizes continuous integration and continuous deployment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a VA NACI clearance

  • Open to occasional travel (~10% to VA and Cognosante locations)

Compensation

$96,760.98 - $154,817.56
