The Raytheon Functional Finance team is seeking an Engineering Business Analyst (Grade P4) to support the Naval Radars SPY-6 Design Agent program. The successful candidate will support Engineering Product Team Leads and  Program leads in weekly reporting and analysis, facilitate quarterly EAC and monthly LRE inputs, and demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results. Scope of work includes partnering with engineering and program leads for EAC/LRE development, tracking productivity metrics to validate test of reasonableness assumptions, providing staffing projections, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs.

The role focuses on driving cost control and APEX and PMX management reporting tools. The candidate will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to drive predictable cost and staffing projections. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operate in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations and ensuring program financial commitments are met, is fundamental to success in this role.

Helping the program meaningfully improve its interfaces with program leadership, as well as developing better financial/staffing metrics, will result in better program workflows, making this candidate a significant contributor.

What You Will Do

  • Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis and Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment

  • Perform detailed financial analysis to EAC and LRE positions

  • Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

  • Experience using SAP, APEX, or similar systems

  • Experience in handling and analyzing large-scale datasets to drive actionable insights

  • Experience with MS Office tools

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and/or other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals

  • Knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics

  • Knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline, with an understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization
