Description

We are currently seeking a NACE Inspector - Level 1 or 2 to help serve our connection of clients and community. - Perform field inspections on coating and painting activities, ensuring compliance with NACE, SSPC, ASTM, and project specifications.
- Conduct surface preparation assessments and verify proper environmental conditions for coating applications.
- Utilize inspection instruments such as DFT gauges, holiday detectors, adhesion testers, and hygrometers.
- Review contractor procedures and ensure work is performed in accordance with approved plans.
- Document all inspection results and prepare daily inspection reports, including non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients regarding quality issues and status updates.
- Participate in pre-job and safety meetings, and contribute to quality and safety improvement initiatives.
What you'll need
- Valid NACE Coating Inspector Certification (Level 1 or Level 2).
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or engineering education is a plus.
- 1–5+ years of relevant experience in coating inspection or a related field (varies by level).
- Proficiency with industry tools and standards (e.g., SSPC, ASTM).
- Strong understanding of coating systems used in oil & gas, marine, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in various environments (outdoors, confined spaces, elevated areas).
- Willingness to travel or work remotely based on project location.
- NACE Level 1 or 2 Certification
- Knowledge of additional inspection disciplines
- OSHA 10/30 certification or other safety-related training
- Experience working on large-scale or infrastructure
