Pay: $119,000 - $205,850
What you will do
The NA Pilot Plant Leader, Technical Operations is responsible for providing operational management, oversight and technical leadership for a team of technical support staff responsible for maintaining and operating the pilot plant under the appropriate regulations. The position has regional responsibility and direct impact on key business results including innovation and the Quality/Compliance profiles across all franchises.
This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring design of pilot scale and production scale production equipment, process systems, automation, and process support systems used for the manufacture of Kenvue products at pilot scale in support of product/process development, consumer studies, pivotal stability and clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the infrastructure and technical operations in the pilot plant, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of excellence.
- Build the vision and strategy for the pilot plant in support of innovation and change management.
- Provide leadership and direction for process engineering resources and activities. Allocate proper level of resources deliver project goals within established timelines and budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Oversee the end-to-end pilot scale development process for formula/process development, consumer studies, pivotal studies and clinical programs. Provide oversight of test programs that will determine critical process parameters, product quality attributes, equipment longevity, failure modes, equipment output capabilities and yields.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams with focus on innovation, identifying and resolving technical issues and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and improve processes.
- Review and approve technical documentation to verify compliance to technical specifications and standards.
- Communicate with internal (manufacturing, quality, engineering) and external partners
