Description
Job Summary The IEEE Multimedia Department is seeking a highly skilled, versatile, and dynamic Multimedia Content Video Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind a wide range of video content, from concept to final delivery. You are a master storyteller who can take complex technical topics and transform them into engaging, cinematic visual narratives.
As a key liaison between the Multimedia Department, senior management, internal business units, and external clients, you will independently manage multiple productions simultaneously. This role requires a global mindset, a passion for technology, and the agility to collaborate with both our internal crew and external international production partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Management & Execution (Concept to Delivery)End-to-End Ownership: Lead video productions through the entire lifecycle: conceptualization, scripting, budgeting, scheduling, physical production, post-production feedback loops, and final delivery/trafficking.On-Set Leadership: Direct on-set shoots and conduct professional, engaging in-person, off-camera interviews with subject matter experts, executives, and clients.Resource Coordination: Collaborate with Director, production managers and coordinators to schedule internal staff or hire and manage freelance crews for larger productions.Content Production: Produce diverse media assets including marketing videos, social media content, internal communications, live event coverage, teasers, bumpers, educational content, promotional pieces, and both short- and long-format features.Client & Stakeholder CollaborationAccount Liaison: Serve as a primary point of contact between the Multimedia Department and various internal departments, senior management, and external clients.Creative Consulting: Work directly with clients to identify their needs, extract the core story, and pitch/propose creative, strategic visual solutions.Brief Development: Write comprehensive, accurate, and precise creative briefs to align stakeholders and production teams before production begins.Feedback Management: Shepherd projects through the post-production phase, managing stakeholder feedback, implementing revisions, and ensuring final satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Production & Direction Technical Production: Directing, producing, and floor management for live, taped, and multi-camera environments. Live & Remote Production: End-to-end oversight of remote shoots, virtual events, and live-streamed broadcasts. AV Systems Knowledge: General audio-visual technical knowledge, including signal flow, camera operations, lighting setups, and sound engineering.Software & Creative Suites Adobe Creative Cloud: Proficient across industry-standard post-production tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop). Productivity & Collaboration: Advanced user of Google Workspace (G Suite) and Microsoft Office 365 for scripting, budgeting, and documentation. Project Management: Monday.com (workspace customization, timeline tracking, and team workflow automation).
