PayPal, Inc. seeks MTS 1, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy a federated development experience platform called Console that connects the providers of technology and consumers of technology, enabling them to seamlessly create, manage and discover their application resources. Build and implement software features for the platform using React, Graphql, Typescript and Java. Convert ideas, designs and requirements to build the platform following best practices of accessibility, internationalization and instrumentation. Code, test, integrate, document and release software adhering to technical and quality standards. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Set up cloud instances of the services developed and enhance the deployment and release process for the platform. Help onboard extensions in the console platform and assist extension developers with single sign on and analytics requirements. Lead key initiatives involving instrumentation of data in Pay Pal’s analytics system and use PayPal’s self-service analysis tool to organize, manipulate and analyze this data. Collaborate with product owners, project and engineering teams and key stakeholders to define requirements, produce designs, and deliver products on a schedule that solve Pay Pal customers’ problems. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $172,931.00-234,300.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
