MS Sr. Business Analyst, Altera Digital Health Inc., Melville, New York. May telecommute from anywhere in the U.S. and report electronically to 2 Huntington Quadrangle North, Suite 3N, Melville, NY 11747 company site. Work under the direction of the Manager to provide application solutions for healthcare software in assigned business areas. Interact with business users to understand new business requirements and enhancement requests. Liaise with application technology vendors, internal IS groups, and business users. Translate business requirements into product-specific designs and configuration, detailed requirement specifications and use cases. Deliver functional specifications, design documents, business process workflow and related documentation for new development projects and/or enhancement and modification requests to be used by Systems Analyst. Interact with Systems Analysts during the software build and/or configuration process and testing process. Perform functional application configuration and configure/run reports at user request. Design and execute functional, integration, and regression test plans for new application functionality, product releases and enhancement and regulatory modifications using business scenarios and use cases. Demonstrate new functionality to business users seeking input on future direction. Review vendor provided documentation and user manuals needed to support the product. Establish a consistent communication strategy with the client and outside vendors/agencies and define the associated deliverables (e.g. status report, risk report etc.). Escalate any disconnects between client expectations, the contract and company interests. Directly interface with business users by responding to support calls escalated by the Service Desk. Participate in user focus groups and requirements workshops, vendor training and demonstrations. Salary Range: $109,033 - $131,293/year. Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires five (5) years of business analysis experience communicating with stakeholders of varying technical knowledge to include the following: five (5) years IT project consultation experience; one (1) year: MS Office 365 applications including Office, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, and using Excel to import large datasets to database tables for analysis and data mining; MS SharePoint to support workflow applications; and MS Visio. M – F, 40 hours/week (9 am – 5 pm). Requires less than 5% domestic travel to attend trainings, conferences, and meetings.
