MS Business Analyst

The primary purpose of the Business Analyst role is to provide comprehensive clinical application, technical and organizational support for our client, Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadows, NY. 

Responsibilities:

• Primary liaison between hospital Altera team and clinical user community
• Provide 1st level helpdesk support for Sunrise products and Sunrise Printing
• Liaison for escalated tickets and projects
• Responsible for all user account creations/terminations
• Responsible for all security and configuration in Sunrise
• Lead analyst on mobile device deployments
• Sunrise configurations - Workstation, location and printer changes 
• Assist in application training, yearly resident training and employee training activities
• Reporting activities 

Qualifications:

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience.

Experience:

• 0-2 years Health IT industry experience preferred
• 2-5 year's experience providing technical and application support on clinical applications
• Sunrise Clinical Manager product experience preferred
• Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical, fast paced environment
• Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Travel Requirements:

• May require local travel 
• May require other travel for business needs

Working Arrangements:

• May require after hours on call support
• Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
