The primary purpose of the Business Analyst role is to provide comprehensive clinical application, technical and organizational support for our client, Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadows, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Primary liaison between hospital Altera team and clinical user community
- Provide 1st level helpdesk support for Sunrise products and Sunrise Printing
- Liaison for escalated tickets and projects
- Responsible for all user account creations/terminations
- Responsible for all security and configuration in Sunrise
- Lead analyst on mobile device deployments
- Sunrise configurations - Workstation, location and printer changes
- Assist in application training, yearly resident training and employee training activities
- Reporting activities
Qualifications:
Academic and Professional Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree preferred and/or other relevant combination of training and experience.
Experience:
- 0-2 years Health IT industry experience preferred
- 2-5 year's experience providing technical and application support on clinical applications
- Sunrise Clinical Manager product experience preferred
- Excellent client facing skills with the ability to thrive in a highly critical, fast paced environment
- Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Travel Requirements:
- May require local travel
- May require other travel for business needs
Working Arrangements:
- May require after hours on call support
- Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
