Mobile HVAC Technician – JLL

What this job involves: Travel to multiple client facilities to deliver expert HVAC maintenance, repair, and inspection services that keep buildings operating at peak efficiency. This mobile role positions you as JLL's on-site technical expert, ensuring optimal comfort and energy performance across our diverse portfolio of properties. You will be the frontline professional maintaining JLL's reputation for excellence in facility management while building strong client relationships through superior technical service.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Travel between assigned facilities to perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC systems and associated equipment
• Conduct facility inspections and system assessments, reporting conditions that impact client operations and comfort
• Operate and maintain building automation systems, electrical distribution equipment, and related mechanical systems
• Utilize CMMS systems such as 360 Facility to update work order status in real time while in the field
• Complete mobile hazard assessments and ensure compliance with safety procedures across multiple locations
• Submit daily P-card receipts and perform vehicle safety inspections for company vehicle
• Coordinate with facility managers and escalate complex issues to customers and management promptly

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum four years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair
• Universal CFC recovery certification
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record and ability to travel between multiple locations daily
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb ladders up to 30 feet
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for multi-site client interaction
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in mobile environment
• Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening process

Preferred Qualifications:

• Third-party HVAC certifications and specialized mobile service experience
• Experience with building automation systems and fire/life safety systems across various facility types
• Knowledge of energy-efficient operating practices and mobile diagnostic equipment
• Familiarity with state, county, and city building codes across service territory
• Experience with mobile CMMS applications and GPS routing systems

Location: Mobile role supporting the Edgerton, KS area

Work Shift: 1st shift - M-F - 8AM-4:30PM. On-call as needed
