Why Join Us:

We're seeking to add a world-class experienced Machine Learning Manager to lead our amazing ML team.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead a strong team of applied and clinical researchers. Drive research productivity. Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to a team of researchers working on Generative AI projects. Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and execute strategic roadmap.

• Lead the team to develop advanced deep learning models: Oversee the creation of sophisticated deep learning models capable of performing a range of reasoning and generative tasks, specifically tailored to the nuances of clinical data.

• Collaborative Solution Development: Engage actively with both technical peers and clinical experts to innovate and refine solutions that have a tangible impact in the field of healthcare.

• Drive the team to architect interdisciplinary solutions: Play a pivotal role in designing solutions that bridge multiple disciplines. Determine the optimal integration points for machine learning in these solutions and conduct objective evaluations of competing methodologies.

• Research Integration and Experimentation: Stay at the forefront of machine learning advancements by reviewing academic papers, designing experiments, and integrating cutting-edge research into our platform.

Who We're Looking For:

• Preferred PhD or Masters in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.

• At least 4 post-educational working years of experience.

• At least 2 years of experience managing applied researchers in a commercial setting.

• Strong NLP background and expertise with the latest developments in the field.

• Experience applying ML solutions to hard real-world problems.

• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch) and common NLP frameworks such as HuggingFace.

• Experience with LLM in production systems.

Nice to Haves:

• MD or PhD in biomedical or related field, or equivalent experience.

• Experience working with the cloud stack. 

• Experience working in a HIPAA compliant environment and in the healthcare industry or clinical environments.

• Experience applying machine learning to health data
