Missile Software and Performance IPT Lead

Responsibilities:
- Lead a Integrated Product Team comprising of Software, Guidance, Navigation, Control, and Simulation engineers to develop, model, test, and validate vehicle flight software
- Provide deep technical understanding of software and system design and integration
- Owns the software and GNC performance of the vehicle software for command and control mission systems or autonomous systems
- Contribute to software engineering proposals where you will perform task definition and estimating work to accomplish those tasks
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- 4 years of experience managing a team
- Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Excellent verbal and written communications with internal and/or external customers and team members leadership and customer representatives
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience developing real-time Operational Flight Programs
- Experience developing signal processing / GNC algorithms or models for missile applications
- Experience designing and performing analysis of high fidelity performance simulations
