As a Mill Team Member, you’ll be at the heart of our pasta production, ensuring the efficient and high-quality milling of semolina, flour, and feed products. You’ll operate and monitor advanced milling equipment, optimize performance, and ensure consistency that meets both company and industry standards.
Your responsibilities will include assessing wheat quality, performing routine equipment checks, and making precise adjustments to maintain proper flow and output. Schedule: Monday - Friday plus rotating weekends 1st shift 7am - 3:30pm
Work Location: 5600 4th Ave NE, Minot, ND 58703
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $29.80 per hour, $0.50 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Operate both cleaning houses and mill to maintain moisture levels and screening percentages.
- Perform scheduled mill and cleaning house maintenance.
- Participate in preventative maintenance for peak mill performance.
- Oversee milling process and the use of computerized systems to ensure finished product quality.
Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management:
- Ensure the production of quality, safe, and legal products.
- Ensure semolina meets quality standards.
- Safely load/unload railcars and trucks with flour, by-products, and wheat.
- Take daily bin inventory measurements.
- Determine wheat blends needed for quality semolina production.
- Send samples for laboratory analysis and adjust the milling process based on results.
- Direct the blending of semolina and flours to pasta operations or load-out facilities.
- Manage feed binning.
Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance:
- Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSMA, and company food safety policies.
- Follow proper storage procedures for products.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas and an audit-ready work environment.
- Promptly report any safety or quality concerns.
- Makes recommendations for improving area cleanliness and sanitation effectiveness.
