Mid-Level Operations Support - Aegis STO Fleet Reach Back Support

Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to serve as Mid-Level Operations Support - Aegis Senior Training Officer (STO) Fleet Reach Back Support for the Commander, Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC). In this role, you will provide tactical and operational expertise to enhance the readiness and effectiveness of the Surface Force across multiple warfare domains. Occasional travel may be required.

Support Locations:
This role provides support across various SMWDC sites, including:

• SMWDC Headquarters, San Diego, CA
• Mine Warfare (MIW) Division, San Diego, CA
• Sea Combat (SC) Division, San Diego, CA
• Integrated Air & Missile Defense (IAMD) Division, Dahlgren, VA
• Amphibious Warfare (AMW) Division, Little Creek, VA

Requirements

Experience:

• Possess a Tactical Action Officer Qualification letter or BMD Watch Officer qualification letter
• Minimum 15 years of experience with the surface navy’s combat systems, C5I, networks, weapons systems and IAMD planning systems
• Minimum seven (7) years of experience aboard Navy cruisers or destroyers acting in the capacity of a System Test Officer or Combat System Maintenance Manager
• Qualified and experienced in a watch station with the authority to employ the Aegis Weapon System (i.e. TAO, AAWC, Battle Watch Captain)
• Experience in post weapons firing mission analysis of Aegis weapon systems
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support war-fighting readiness, capabilities, and capacity evaluations

• Strong analytical skills to assess and improve tactical training and operational strategies
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for interfacing with Navy leadership and cross-functional teams

Security Clearance:

• Possess current SECRET Security Clearance with TS/SCI eligibilty
