Fabletics is currently looking for a Merchandise Wholesale Production Associate Manager

As the Merchandise Wholesale Production Associate Manager, you will play a key role in managing the production process for our wholesale accounts, ensuring the seamless execution of product delivery from development to final shipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Design, Merchandising, Logistics, and Quality Assurance, to meet the specific needs of our wholesale partners and ensure that our products are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
As the Merchandise Wholesale Production Associate Manager, you will manage the production lifecycle of wholesale orders, oversee vendor relationships, and handle the complexities of multiple retail partner requirements. This role requires an organized, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate fast-paced, high-volume production environments.
This position will report to the Merchandise Director of Production and Sourcing
What You Will Do:
- Manage Wholesale Production Timelines: Oversee the entire lifecycle of wholesale production, from purchase order (PO) placement to final delivery. Ensure that production is completed on time and adheres to the specifications of wholesale clients.
- Vendor Relationship & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale vendors, ensuring that they receive all necessary information, materials, and approvals to meet production timelines. Proactively address any issues or delays, providing solutions and escalating when necessary.
- PO Creation & Tracking: Manage the creation, tracking, and revision of wholesale POs. Ensure that all orders reflect the correct details and accommodate late changes or additions. Maintain accurate records of POs, ensuring alignment with production schedules and wholesale requirements.
- Sample Management & Approvals: Request and track production samples in the correct construction, color, and size for wholesale client reviews. Ensure samples meet expectations for quality and accuracy before final production.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure that all products meet Fabletics quality standards as well as the specific quality requirements set by wholesale partners. Review QA inspection reports, garment test results, and development testing before goods are shipped.
- Logistics & On-Time Delivery: Collaborate with logistics teams to monitor transit schedules, lead times, and shipping requirements for each wholesale partner. Resolve any potential delays to ensure on-time delivery for retail partners.
- Wholesale-Specific Customizations (SMUs): Work closely with Sales, Merchandising and Design teams to support the development and production of Special Make-Up (SMU) programs for wholesale accounts, managing bulk production, costing, and logistics from development to delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance & Labeling: Ensure products meet all required packaging, labeling, and regulatory standards for international and domestic wholesale partners. Stay updated on changing regulations to maintain compliance across various regions.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with merchandising, sales, Compliance and logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of wholesale product strategies. Keep all teams informed on production statuses, shipping schedules, and any potential issues that may arise.
What You Can Bring:
- 3+ years of production experience in fashion or apparel manufacturing with 1+ Wholesale experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the wholesale supply chain, including PO management, vendor relations, and product development.
- Experience managing both domestic and international production timelines and vendor compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Manufacturing, Business, Product Development, or a related field
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions for data management
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills—able to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
- Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving, with a focus on driving solutions and improvements
