The Membership Specialist plays a key role in supporting the integrity and effectiveness of Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) membership processes. This role involves monitoring compliance with OPTN policies and bylaws across transplant centers, organ procurement organizations (OPOs), and laboratories, as well as processing membership applications, maintaining accurate records, and performing data-driven analysis to enhance system quality.

The Membership Specialist acts as an essential liaison with members, providing guidance, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting the Membership and Professional Standards Committee (MPSC) in their oversight activities.
