This critical role involves building and executing day-to-day execution of collateral monitoring, margin management, client interactions, and the highly sensitive process of collateral liquidation for institutional clients engaged in secured financing transactions (loans, repos, etc.). You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and risk-mitigated operation of this key service, acting as a vital link between our technology, clients, and risk management functions.

As a Member of Client Operations, Collateral Management Services, you will:

  • Contribute towards operational KPIs and ensuring high standards of performance and accuracy.
  • Maintain the day-to-day operations of the Atlas Collateral Management platform, including monitoring collateral packages, managing configurations, and utilizing internal tools (Retool, APIs) for booking operations.
  • Manage the timely and accurate issuance of margin calls, warnings, and other threshold-based notifications according to predefined rules and client agreements.
  • Own and execute the collateral liquidation process in strict accordance with established protocols and client agreements, coordinating closely with the Anchorage Digital Trading desk during potentially high-pressure situations. This is a critical, high-sensitivity responsibility.
  • Serve as a operational point of contact for institutional clients using the Atlas Collateral Management service, handling inquiries, reporting requests, and operational communications effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Client Experience teams to onboard new clients, explain operational workflows, and act as a subject matter expert on the product's capabilities.
  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering teams to provide operational insights, feedback on system performance, define requirements for new features/enhancements (informed by the PRD), and assist in testing.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures, controls, and runbooks to enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, and ensure scalability.

  • We have created the Factors of Growth & Impact to help Villagers better measure impact and articulate coaching, feedback, and the rich and rewarding learning that happens while exploring, developing, and mastering the capabilities and contributions within and outside of the Collateral Management role:

Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of collateral management principles (LTV, thresholds, cure periods, haircuts, liquidation triggers) in both traditional finance and crypto contexts.
  • Proficiency in utilizing operational dashboards, internal tooling (e.g., Retool), and APIs for booking transactions, managing configurations, and monitoring system health, based on product specifications (PRD).
  • Strong grasp of digital asset market structure, custody principles (segregation, security), and trade execution mechanics, particularly concerning liquidation scenarios.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex configuration parameters (collateral packages, exposures, thresholds) defined in client agreements and system setups.
  • Develop and maintain operational procedures and controls for risk mitigation.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Oversee the critical and high-sensitivity process of collateral liquidation, requiring precision, calmness under pressure, and adherence to strict protocols in coordination with the Trading team.
  • Navigate the complexities of 24/7 market monitoring and operational requirements.
  • Manage direct client interactions during potentially sensitive events (margin calls, defaults), requiring professionalism and clarity.
  • Bridge the gap between client needs, operational execution, risk management requirements, and technological capabilities (working closely with Product/Engineering).
  • Contribute significantly to the risk managem
