We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Manager to join our dynamic team at a leading pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between clinical developments and commercial teams, ensuring the effective communication of medical insights and the implementation of evidence-based strategies to support the company's product portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of product science, disease areas, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide medical expertise to the marketing team, assisting in the creation of scientifically accurate materials that comply with regulatory standards.
- Understands the medical ecosystem and innovates on opportunities to shape the medical environment and local clinical practice
- Build mutually respected partnerships with scientific society and with individual TAE’s, drive broad collaboration across all stakeholders
- Provides an expert understanding of Roche & competitor data
- Supports the teams to define and communicate medical value
- Contributes to multi-channel (digitally-enabled) strategies to communicate medical value
- Networks broadly across Roche organization to share insights, best practices and resources
- Uncovers local-evidence gaps & helps to strategically address them
- Champions innovation & new ways of working in balance with ensuring compliance, ethics, and safety of Roche products
- Strategic partner of A&I team, who brings medical ideas and insights to the therapeutic area strategy and projects
Requirements for candidates
- Core understanding of pharmaceutical medicine and science, including data analysis and biostatistics
- Relevant work experience, scientific acumen and communication skills in medical
- Understand health ecosystem (Payers, Health Authorities, PAGs, HCOs)
- Ability to interpret complex science into clinical practice
- Strong networking & relationship builder
- Able to act fast on insights and realizing opportunities, including quick delivery of customer-centric solutions
- Entrepreneurial attitude is essential, e.g. challenges the status quo, takes calculated risks, thinks out of the box
- Seeking soft skills and new technical skills, leveraging digital technology for faster, efficient communication and better outcomes
- Strategic thinking and negotiation skills.

Qualifications:
- A medical degree (MD) or equivalent; advanced degrees in related fields (e.g., PhD in Pharmacology, Pharmacy) are a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in medical affairs.
- Strong understanding of clinical research, drug development processes, and regulatory guidelines.
