Overview

Medical Assistants provide basic, uncomplicated patient care and assist with unit/department operations under direct supervision of a physician, APRN, PA, or RN. Assignment of job responsibilities are delegated by the medical provider, RN, Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager or Resource Manager assigned to supervise the Care Assistant and in accordance with this job description. The Clinical Trial Finance, Manager under the direction of the Clinical Trial Finance, Director, is responsible for providing overall administrative leadership and operational management of Clinical Trial Finance. The incumbent will directly supervise the functional areas for industry budgeting, non-industry internal budgets, the Clinical Trial Management System, Infor CSF for projects managed by CTF, myResearchSuite (myGrants, myAgreements, myIRB). This position works in collaboration with multiple teams in the CMRI, across the enterprise, and is the liaison for budget consultants. This position directly supervises the Clinical Trial Finance, Supervisor and Clinical Trial Finance accountant(s) which are dedicated to providing overall support throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials and residual projects. The Clinical Trial Finance, Manager will work with the Director, Clinical Trial Finance to establish metrics and continue development of the Clinical Trial Finance Team. The position partners with teams both internally in the CMRI and outside the CMRI to ensure compliance with policies and sponsor regulations across the organization.

If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supportive patient care.
  • Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment and promotes efficient and safe operations.
  • Performs clerical functions.
  • Attends education programs, unit meetings and assigned committees.
  • Shares responsibility for teaching and orientation of new personnel (within own skill level).

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience 1 year of experience in patient or customer facing roles
  • Other Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
  • One of the following: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant, National Certified Medical Assistant required upon hire
  • BLS certification Required Upon Hire
  • Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) Required Upon Hire
