MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Description

Busy Orthopedic office looking for a part time MA to assist with MA duties and paperwork.

We are looking for a part time MA who is a team player for our thriving orthopedic office to help cover clinic on Tuesday's and assist with paperwork, such as orders and prior authorizations and occasion clinic on Friday mornings.

Note, this job does require front desk assistance, answering of phones and overall office help

Requirements

Required:

Experience with admin/clerical work for: referral coordination, prior auth submissions, scheduling 

Able to work in fast paced office 

Willingness to step up and assist where needed

Must be a "Team Player"

The following are preferred but  not required:

Orthopedic MA experience 

Wound care experience 

Knowledge/experience with dispensing ortho DME 

Bi-Lingual 

Experience with EPIC EHR
