Primary Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for creating an amazing, positive patient experience during the patient visit. Works closely with PSRs, Clinicians and other MA’s to ensure efficiency and optimal delivery of service to Family Care Partner’s patients. Assist with surgical procedures and set-up Assist with GYN exams Prescription refills Dispense medications Create referrals, lab orders, and diagnostic tests for patients Discuss lab and diagnostic results with patient Schedule office appointments Assist patient with scheduling appointments with Specialists and Diagnostics Answer patient phone calls Fax correspondence Stock and disinfect exam rooms Autoclave Comply with HIPPA, OSHA, and State of Florida Bio-hazard regulations Properly document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

• Administration of  insulin
• Respiratory devices

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma

• Some College Preferred

• Certification as medical assistant required.

• 2 years’ experience working as a medical assistant.

• Excellent customer service experience

Shift premium: 

Will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
