As Test Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining Final Test equipment used in thin film Media development.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance per schedule and MMM (Manufacturing Maintenance Manual) procedures for assigned tool set.
- Document routine preventive maintenance on PM checklists, record data if applicable and maintain completed checklist/history in tool logbook.
- Troubleshoot and repair routine unscheduled failures to root cause and select correct down code when closing out call for Equipment Engineer to improve MTBF (Mean-Time Between Failure).
- Document routine preventive maintenance and unscheduled failures on Resource Viewer and Forum Notes equipment manufacturing tracking system and database
- Provide inputs to Shift Manager, Lead and/or Equipment Engineer to improve PM cycle-time, tool availability, quality/workmanship, reduce wafer scrap and cost of ownership.
- Provide Technical training and certification for maintenance personnel.
- Support Tool Owner and Equipment Engineer to define and write preventive maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- AA Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering or any other related engineering field .
- Certificate from vocational or trade school in computer technology or computer hardware maintenance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of recent experience working in Media Test equipment
- Knowledge in critical mechanical alignment, pneumatics and electronics.
- Computer literate.
- Can work with minimal supervision.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of fly height ,optical AOI and magnetic testing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, macro is a plus.
- Basic computer networking configuration skills .
- Handling of precision instruments and skills crucial mechanical alignment.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and relational skills, with the ability to quickly develop relationships of trust and confidence with a variety of people and personalities, at all levels within an organization
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively multi-task and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team environment
