Join the Interventional Psychiatric team at The Arc of the Ozarks as a Medical Assistant, where your clinical and administrative skills will directly support individuals and families navigating psychiatric care. This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful, hands-on support in a multidisciplinary setting that values compassion, precision, and innovation. What You’ll Do: Administer & Support TMS Treatment- Assist with TMS mapping and treatment sessions
- Clean, maintain, and monitor TMS machines and treatment rooms
- Train other staff and maintain current TMS certification
- Monitor vitals, administer injections, assist with psychiatric medication education
- Provide Spravato monitoring and support services
- Help coordinate referrals and manage medication prior authorizations
- Greet/check in clients, verify insurance, process payments
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EHR
- Schedule appointments, respond to patient calls, and ensure clinical readiness
- Act as a key liaison between providers, patients, families, and outside agencies
- Draft provider letters and support correspondence with schools or agencies
- Uphold the mission of The Arc of the Ozarks in every interaction
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or TMS technician in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with child and adolescent psychiatry, psych meds, and interventional treatments like TMS and Spravato
- Experience with EHR systems and strong knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to handle both administrative and clinical duties in a busy outpatient setting
- Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
- Compassionate and respectful when working with individuals with mental health and developmental diagnoses
- Comfortable adapting to flexible schedules and fast-paced environments
- Basic physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs occasionally
