None/Not RequiredWhat You Will Do:
- Support team members with issues that arise throughout the shift, to include but not limited to: Workmanship, Understanding S/B, SIL, Customer Documentation, ODM & training of techs/new hires.
- Support Supervisor with maintaining the days POA & relay intel that could halt the days goals from being achieved.
- Support/Conduct the Tier 1 meeting daily with the repair techs, outlining the days goal & updating the team regarding progress or achievements.
- Acquire or be in the process of acquiring a Certified Repairman’s License.
- Communicate via email the end of shift notes with all other MRO Supervisors upon the absence of the Second Shift Supervisor.
- Is a “sub owner” of the 5S area (Quality area), supports the 5S champion, assists with 5S audit finding resolution, conducts 5S meetings (if needed) in absence of 5S champion.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

- Update Supervisor of progress/issues throughout shift.
- Good understanding of Customer expectations, documents, ODM, etc.
- Be on track to acquire to mechanical mastery in at least one product including: Prelim (Analyzing ) and Final Test. Has mechanical mastery in one other area including: Prelim (Analyzing ) or Final Test, has complete understanding of the workflow in the product line of mastery.
- Has started & is on path to complete CORE Apprenticeship.
