Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Steel, Arkansas is seeking applicants for the position of Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. We will select the best candidate and possibly move existing Supervisors as necessary to build our best team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a maintenance team that builds on our safety culture, grows our predictive and preventive maintenance systems, helps manage continuous improvement projects, and diligently works on team development.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Two years of steel manufacturing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four or more years of leadership experience
• Construction / equipment upgrade experience
• Geographical mobility and desire to promote
• Associate or Bachelors in engineering discipline
